The 34th INTERSPAR in Hungary was built on the site of the former Tata Athletic Club. Its construction is unique, as the supporting structure, the beams and the floor panels are made entirely of wood. The building also uses solar energy, such as solar paneling for power to the phone chargers on the playground.
There is a free car park with 450 seats, and an electric car charging station and bicycle storage room. In the neighborhood of the hypermarket, a modern playground for family customers was built. In the course of the project, May 1 was widened, a cornering corner was formed, moved and the pedestrian crossing was increased.
In the new store, health-conscious nutrition foods, bio- and diabetic goods, and a complete range of convenience products in the chain have been highlighted. In the 5200 square meter Tata hypermarket, 78 employees help with shopping, while cashier time is shortened by self-service cashiers.
At the Tata hypermarket there is a salad bar and a bakery, as well as a spacious and comfortable SPAR to Go restaurant, which is also on the terrace in good weather. The restaurant welcomes consumers with locally-baked roasts, freshly prepared hot meals and barbecues, an extensive selection of pizzas, and a rich offer of sandwiches, salads and soft drinks, which can be used for free during walks.
