The league’s first Utah Jazz was knocked out at home by the Dallas Mavericks after nine winning games on the last day of the North American Professional Basketball Championship (NBA).
Luka Doncic contributed 31 points and Dorian Finney-Smith 23 points to the success of the home team. Dallas met the Jazz for the third time this season and beat it for the first time. The Minnesota Timberwolves, led by D'Angelo Russell and now returning after their knee surgery, also defeated the guest Sacramento Kings with 25 points, while the Toronto Raptors beat Gary Trent Jr. with a two-second trip to Washington by two points.
