Slovenian right-wing Dragan Gajic announced on Monday that he will be leaving Telekom's Veszprém men's handball team at the end of the season.
"The next six months will be my last half year in Veszprém. The road is hellish, but I will do my best to make our dream come true at the end of the season," the 35-year-old wrote on his social network.
Gajic has previously strengthened the teams of RK Celje, RK Zagreb, Branik Maribor and Montpellier and has played handball in Veszprém since 2016. He has twice won the Championship and the Hungarian Cup with his current band.
The goal scorer for the 2015 World Cup said he was looking forward to new challenges and new goals in his career.
"Eighteen years have passed since the beginning of my professional career, but my motivation and passion for the game remain unchanged. In my new club, I will do my best," he wrote.
According to press releases in North Macedonia, Veszprém will be relegating Russian right-wing champion Vardar Skopje Danyiil Siskarjov to replace Gajic next summer.
