In the ERC3 category, Adrienn Vogel and her navigator, Ivett Notheisz, will start with the new R4 Fiesta in the Hungarian round of the Rally Eb. The members of the Hungarian women's duo are happy to be able to compete in front of the Hungarian audience again after the September Eger Rally.
This year, the pair of Roger Racing Team, cooperating with the Czech Orsák Rallysport, made their debut in Nyíregyháza a year ago in the field of the rally-Eb, where they finished second in the women's evaluation. This year, due to the pandemic, they had fewer events than planned, but they were there for the FIA ERC summer round in Rome and achieved a great result: they finished fifth in the 19-car category and finished best among women in the Rally di Roma. . And now they are ready to fight again on the dunes of Mád and in the mountains of Zemplén for the best possible result.
“We are unspeakably glad to be able to compete in a European Championship round again, especially that this is Rally Hungary. Last year it was our first European race, we still remember almost every moment of it, it was an unforgettable experience. This is the only ERC location where we have all the experience as we know their speed. The only icing on the cake is that there can be spectators in the weekend race, because to go in front of the domestic audience is always a huge honor, and without them there would not be the same rally. We entered the new Ford Fiesta R4 at the Eger Rally, we hope we will finish in a good place here as well. Orsák Rallysport gives us all the support for this, the joint work with the Czech team is excellent. Our goal is to further reduce our gap compared to the leaders in our category and to complete the weekend with as few mistakes as possible. ”
Rally Hungary will be held from November 6 to 8 in and around Nyíregyháza. 191.06 kilometers of race are waiting for the field on 16 special stages, the total distance of the race, including the stages, is 956.01 km.
