The drivers of the Formula 1 World Speed Car Championship have unveiled a pre-race calendar for 2021 with 22 races in the series, which must even be approved by the World Automobile Federation (FIA) World Motorsports Council (WMSC).
In a statement on Tuesday, Formula One management recalled that the coronavirus epidemic necessitated a major overhaul of this year’s program, which ended up with 17 race weekends instead of the planned 21, and F1 was the first in a series of international sports competitions to continue. following the first wave of the pandemic.
According to the announcement, next year’s draft program, in which the 22 races are a record, was preceded by an extensive consultation and negotiation process in which local promoters and authorities were also involved. They indicated they plan to allow spectators to return to the stands of the racetracks in 2021, after key health and safety measures have been developed this year.

According to the preliminary competition calendar, the World Cup will start in Melbourne on March 21 next year, the 11th race of which will be on the first day of August at the Hungarian Grand Prix in Mogyoród. The Circuit de Catalunya in Spain and Sao Paulo in Brazil still lack a signed contract, and the date of April 25 has been released after the competition did not receive adequate political support in Vietnam. The Saudi Arabian Grand Prix is scheduled to be held in Jeddah for the first time next year, and the season will end on December 5 in Abu Dhabi.
