Adri Vogel gained an unforgettable experience for his nine-year-old fan. The Roger Racing Team rider made the Tereprally School and Training at BIOEXTRA last weekend for the season.
Emi has been following Adri’s career since she was three, when they first met. “He didn’t let go, he sat on my lap for hours, he already knew he wanted to be a car racer. He has been riding a motorcycle since he was a kid, his dad gives him everything he can practice, ” Adri Vogel recalled the first meeting.
Another joint experience last weekend was the field school in Pápoc, where Adri took his determined little fan with a CAN AM. “He listened to the racing alignment and the training patiently and attentively, then we took over the information in a language that was more understandable to him, we also got to know the vehicle. It is very good to see what willpower and perseverance there is at such a small age, ” Adrienn said.
This year, the rider, who is scheduled to start in the Rally European Championships (FIA ERC), practiced driving in extreme conditions with new off-road challenges. “Compared to the first off-road weekend, it was a lot harder. Water ditches, pits, puddles, grass, dust, water, everything was imaginable. Everything was clearly marked, now our team leader, Ákos Jobbágy, was navigating me. With his incredible experience, it helped me how to deal with teasers, sloping terrain, conditions we don’t encounter in rallies. It was surprising and instructive, I look forward to continuing, ” summed up the weekend’s experience with Adrienn Vogel.
