The six-time world champion Lewis Hamilton, Mercedes driver of the United Kingdom, has won Saturday's qualifying session at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix in Formula One, finishing in the lead on Sunday's race.
34-year-old Hamilton is ranked 11th in this year and 88th in pole position.
In the qualifying round, Hamilton's teammate Valtteri Bottas finished second, but his car had to be replaced earlier, so the Finnish pilot would start at the end of the field.
The second starting frame will be Max Verstappen (Red Bull) in the Netherlands, while the third position will be taken by Charles Leclerc, Ferrari pilot from Monaco.
The 55-lap Abu Dhabi Grand Prix will begin at 2.10 pm on Sunday.
