The Bingoal Pauwels Sauces WB Pro Team, in whose colors last year Belgian Laurens Huys fought until the last minute for the composite victory, will start again in the Tour de Hongrie road cycling circuit.
Organizers said Wednesday the Belgian team would forget its not-so-lucky debut this year. In addition to Huys falling behind the composite lead, two of his bikers crashed at the finish in Hajdúszoboszló, and neither of them was able to continue the race.
The briefing states that the band was able to keep their mountain cool in the fire, and in Esztergom the Estonian Aksel Nommela and in Kazincbarcika the Belgian Julien Mortier had a top 10 result in the sprint.
The Bingoal Pauwels Sauces WB was formed in 2011 as Wallonie Bruxelles-Crédit Agricole, with fifteen Belgian cyclists in its ranks. Last year he was also featured as Bingoal-Wallonie Bruxelles, and this season twenty bikers, in addition to the Belgians, two Luxembourg, one Swiss, one Dutch and Polish champion Stanislaw Aniolkowski will compete for more success.
The 42nd Tour de Hongrie will take place from 12 to 16 May, with 132 cyclists from 22 teams taking part in the event.
