Rory McIlroy plans to be there in all three June tournaments when the most prestigious series of professional golfers (US PGA) restarts.
The world’s first player on Thursday said he would also like to start in the Charles Schwab Challenge on June 11-14, the RBC Heritage on June 18-21, and the Travelers Championship on June 25-28.
“There’s also a lack of racing, rivalry, a locker room atmosphere and fellow players,” said the Irish golfer, who had even been involved in a charity match this Sunday.
The four-time major-tournament-winning athlete added, confident they could return to the tracks safely next month.
Due to the pandemic, the race season had to be thoroughly reorganized, so three of the four big battles - Masters, PGA Championship, US Open - were also looking for a new date, while The Open Championship will not be held this year.
