The legendary American skier opens a winter sports academy

There was a time when a world was a fan of Bode Miller. American bats were one, if not the most popular, of the alpine skiing field. Miller retired a few years ago, but now he is opening an academy.

Retired American Olympic champion Alpine Skier opens a winter sports academy in order to discover the talents of the future. Miller, 42, has been working on setting up the academy for a year and a half, and although the program is still in its infancy, roughly a hundred people have already indicated their intention to participate.

Teaching is done online to fit the restrictive measures ordered due to the coronavirus epidemic. The curriculum is planned to be suitable for alpine skiers, snowboarders, cross-country skiers, but even hockey players.

Miller will not only add his face and name to the academy, but he himself will be among the teachers and plan to invite guest speakers. The alpine skier will introduce the interested students to the exercises and dry training programs that he also completed during his career.

“We want to raise superstars, which may sound like an exaggeration, but it’s still the foundation of our whole vision,” Miller declared.
