Petra Senánszky used to be a fin swimmer, but she decided to give it up and try herself as a traditional swimmer.
The swimmer still felt so good in the water that she also ticked off Katinka Hosszú's peak in the 50 meter sprint.
The 29-year-old athlete has been a fin swimmer for most of her life - 22 years. Water is therefore one of his natural environments, but he only tried his hand at traditional swimming a few years ago. This required him to leave the usual things and step out into a different world. As Senánszky put it, "I almost had to start learning to swim from scratch".
It seems that despite the difficulties, he still got into it, because he swam at the top and this means even more motivation for him to reach the Olympic A-level.
