The 11-time champion Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer also made it easy to win the quarter-finals at the French Open Tennis Championship on Sunday, while Stan Wawrinka beat Staphane Cicipal for over five hours.
The 32-year-old Spanish star took off at the World Ranking in 2:16 minutes with Argentinian Juan Ignacio Londero, and succeeded in improving his balance on 90-2 at Roland Garros.
The 3 rd Swiss favorite never lost his gambling match in the 1 hour 42-minute clash against Leonardo Mayer, taking five times - in the world rankings 68th - the Argentine organ squad.
Federer was five times finalist at Roland Garros, but only once, in 2009 he won the final. The Swiss classic missed the Grand Slam voyage in Paris over the past three years.
The day's match was played by Stan Wawrinka and Staphan Cicipas. The 34-year-old, 24th-ranked Swiss tennis player - the tournament champion in 2015 - has been away from his best shape since his knee surgery in 2017, but now he has played a sensational 5-hour 9-minute match at this year's Australian Open semifinal Greek Cicipas.
Wawrinka, who has only reached the finals in one tournament in the last twenty months, took eight broke balls in the final Sunday game, and took advantage of his second chance and moved on.
