The World Athletics Championships held in Budapest is a big event for us, but it is also important because our athletes are proving themselves.
Gréta Kerekes and Luca Kozák also started in the qualifiers of the 100 hurdles. Kerekes did run his personal best this year, but this was not enough in the World Cup qualifiers, so he was eliminated.
Luca Kozák ran in the other round. He is already a silver medalist and was very confident that he would do well. Her competitor, European gold medalist Pia Skrzyszowska, was also present, as well as World Cup champion Nia Ali, so she expected a tough race. He finished in fourth place, but that was enough to make it into the qualifiers. The result he ran then is also his best this year.
