Decathlon's Olaian swimwear and bikini collection is being expanded this year with a number of new pieces that offer a greater variety of colors and cuts for the summer than ever before. The goal of the brand is that everyone, regardless of their body shape, can find the right outfit for the beach and spend their free time confidently on the water's edge, whether it's relaxing or playing sports.
As in the case of other sports, the models here can also be separated according to different user levels, so that everyone can choose the one that will suit them best. The beginner level is recommended for those who mainly enjoy the sun at the water's edge, while the intermediate and advanced levels are designed for those who do physical activities of varying intensity in the water.
"Each style was tested by surfers in different situations, the clothes were put to the test on land, in a swimming pool and among the waves of the sea, thus ensuring that they can hold their own in different conditions. We want to make sure everyone feels beautiful and confident when they put on a swimsuit. This year's key word is diversity, cut and functionality, the collection has a lot of possibilities, and trendy patterns and colors will also appear," said Viktória Domokos, Decathlon's sports director responsible for water sports.
For 80% of women, choosing the top is the most important thing when shopping for swimwear, as finding the right bra is typically more challenging than finding the bottom. The mix & match pieces, which can be easily combined with each other, provide a solution for this as well.
"Even today, women receive more attention and more critical eyes than their male counterparts when it comes to their attire. This is no different in the summer beach season. That is why it is extremely important that the selected swimsuit or bikini be something in which the ladies can confidently and selflessly enjoy the time spent in the water and on the water's edge, regardless of their shape and life situation. For this, a comfortable piece that provides adequate support and does not move is essential," added fashion expert Bence Csalár, who assisted Decathlon's work as a consultant at the event presenting the collection.
At the event presenting the new collection, guests could see the sets presented by the models live. This year's patterns and colors are already available in Decathlon's stores and webshop, and the range will soon be expanded with even more limited edition pieces.
