In a round of ISL series, four teams compete against each other at once. According to the organization, 12-12 male and female swimmers can take part in one competition in each team, but two more competitors can be deployed in relays. Two swimmers per club compete in a number, the teams get points based on their rankings, so the final order is formed.
In individual numbers, 9, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 points can be scored basically - however, if someone wins with a certain advantage, they can rob points with others - while the bills have a double multiplier. And in the so-called spark race, in which the riders have to swim three times in a row three times in a row, but the field is halved at each end, you can even triple.
The second season of the series will take place behind closed doors due to the coronavirus epidemic, with the participation of ten teams in the Danube Arena. Athletes arriving in Hungary must live in a "bubble", similar to the American sports leagues (NHL, NBA). Ten rounds will be held in the regular season, followed by the semi-finals and the final.
