Danuta Kozák, Dóra Bodonyi duo won a bronze medal at the K-2,500 meters at the Tokyo Olympics. The other Hungarian unit of the track, Tamara Csipes and Erika Medveczky, finished fourth.
Tuesday’s final was won by New Zealand’s Lisa Carrinton and her partner, Caitlin Regal, who won second gold after the K-1 after 200 meters, ahead of Poles.
The five-time five-ring champion, 34-year-old Kozák, started as the defending champion in this number in the Japanese capital, now the first Olympic bronze medal after five gold and one silver.
