The Hungarian cyclist took the sport seriously and now it's all starting to pay off.
At the World Cycling Championships in Glasgow, the Hungarian athlete won a gold medal in the U23 category. This is a triumph for both Hungarian cyclists and Hungarian-Russia, as Blanka Kata Vas is the first to win a world championship gold medal in cycling for our country.
They had to cover more than 154 km in the race in Glasgow. Not only was the distance long, but it was also characterized by steep streets and sharp turns. The circuit also proved to be technical, but Kata Vas handled the obstacles well and was able to place well.
The 21-year-old Hungarian cyclist finally reached the finish line first, but the Hungarian team collected a total of four medals at the World Championships in Glasgow.
