The Hungarian competitors collected one gold and one silver medal in the first part of Saturday's final program at the European Kayak-Canoe Championship taking place within the framework of the Munich Multisport European Championship.
Bálint Kopasz, who defended his title in the men's K-1 1000 meters after a confident race, was the first to finish, and he is currently the current Olympic and world champion in the king's race.
Giada Bragato and Bianka Nagy came second in the women's C-2 500 m, who won the silver medal at the end of a competitive race.
Three more Hungarian boats finished in fourth place.
Four more finals will take place on Saturday, the 5,000 meter races starting at 15:52 will all feature Hungarian boats.
