RB Leipzig, which is in third place in the German football Bundesliga and employs three Hungarian national team players, is not currently fighting for the championship title.
"We're not dealing with that right now," said team captain Willi Orbán at the training camp in Abu Dhabi.
The defender of the Hungarian national team added: of course, they want to win every match, regardless of who the opponent is.
"The first match will be very interesting, with that being said, we are now focusing on finding our form," said Willi Orbán, referring to the fact that in the first round after the World Cup break, on January 20, the defending champion and league leader Bayern Munich will be their opponents. If they win, they will come within three points of the Bavarians.
"It's been a long break in the Bundesliga, so we have to make sure we're at our best again. That's why we're here and that's why we're working hard," said the footballer.
In addition to him, the goalkeeper Péter Gulácsi, who is currently recovering from an injury, and Dominik Szoboszlai are members of the Hungarian national team in the Leipzig team.
