Vinícius Junior scored the only goal in the match at the Stade de France, which began with more than half an hour's delay, in the 59th minute, but Thibaut Courtois was the hero of the Spanish champions, as the Belgian goalkeeper defended in great form.
With this, Real Madrid triumphed in the most prestigious European Cup for the 14th time in its history. Carlo Ancelotti, the head coach in his fifth BL final, reached the top for the fourth time.
And speaking of the highlights: Karim Benzema, the French striker of Real Madrid, became the most successful player of the 2021/22 series with 15 goals.
