The defending champion Bayern Munich was surprised to receive a guest from Bayer Leverkusen on Saturday's game day 13 of the German Bundesliga.
Both goals for the Leverkusen were scored by Leon Bailey of Jamaica, with Thomas Müller scoring the championship. By the end of the 35th minute, the guests were able to maintain their advantage until the blow-off, with a human handicap in the last ten minutes.
The Bavaria, under the guidance of Hansi Flick's acting head coach, suffered their first defeat.
The table is currently led by Péter Gulácsi and RB Leipzig from Willi Orbán.
