Team training in the English Premier League has been re-authorized from Monday. The British government announced on Sunday night that training in competitive sports could be resumed without maintaining a safety distance. However, the suggestion is that only two to three players practice in a common group.
In the first stage, from the beginning of last week, the teams were allowed to train, but physical contact was still prohibited. The third and final phase of the return to the game will be when the league battles actually restart.
Premier League leader Richard Masters expects a sequel on June 12, but it is possible that June 19 will be the date of his return.
The English league was interrupted on 13 March due to the coronavirus epidemic, with nine more rounds left. The table is led by FC Liverpool with a 25-point lead and is only two wins away from becoming champion again for the first time since 1990.
