Ruins of the Schalke

Bayer Leverkusen won 3-0 at the home of the army driver Schalke 04 on Sunday’s game day of the tenth round of the German Football Championship.

The Gelsenkirchen championship win has now lasted 26 matches, the second longest series in Bundesliga history. The negative peak is held by Tasmania Berlin, which played 31 meetings in a series in the mid-1960s without success. Schalke was last able to win a league match on January 17th.
