KPMG: Real Madrid made the most money during the pandemic-hit season

According to the latest report from the audit firm KPMG, the Spanish champion Real Madrid football club had the highest revenue among European associations in the 2019/2020 season hit by the coronavirus epidemic.

According to the company's statement, although Madrid's revenue fell by eight per cent during the period under review, they still topped the rankings by € 681.2 million, ahead of German champion and Champions League winner Bayern Munich (€ 607.2 million), Premier League gold medalist FC Liverpool (€ 557 million) and French champion Paris Saint-Germain (€ 540.6 million).

Juventus, a defending champion in Serie A, is fifth on the list with € 401.4 million, while Paris Saint-Germain is at the top of the pandemic losses, with KPMG showing € 125.8 million in revenue due to the epidemic. . This may also have been due to the fact that of the top European championships last April, only France was canceled prematurely, citing a pandemic.
