Juventus announced on Tuesday that it has received € 15 million from Manchester United for Portuguese football star Cristiano Ronaldo, but that amount could rise by eight million if certain conditions are met.
The transfer of the five-time gold-balled, 36-year-old player was announced by the parties on Friday, but no financial details of the deal were released at the time. Ronaldo had a contract with the Turin for another year.
With the Portuguese national team in 2016, the European champion footballer signed his first contract to MU from Sporting Lisboa in the summer of 2003, winning eight trophies by 2009, including the 2008 Champions League. The attacker won the first gold ball of his career in 2008 as a Manchester United player, then in 2009 he claimed Real Madrid for a world record amount of € 94 million. It has been contracted to Juventus for € 100 million three years ago.
The 179-time Portuguese national footballer scored 84 goals in 196 matches in the Premier League.
