Dániel Gazdag scored his 18th goal in the regular season of the North American professional soccer league (MLS) on Saturday.
The Philadelphia Union, which is preparing for the playoffs, won 2-0 at the home of the New York Red Bulls, so it continues to confidently lead the table of the main group in the East. According to the club's website, the 15-time international forward was on the pitch the entire time and scored the winner in the 74th minute.
Since mid-July, Gadsag has only failed to find the back of the net in two league games, and with his 18th goal of the season, he maintains his third place on the scoring list. The Hungarian record in MLS is held by Nemanja Nikolics: with his 24 goals in 2017, he became top scorer in the regular season.
