The disciplinary committee of the European Football Association (UEFA) decides on Thursday to decide on the extent of the ban on Cristiano Ronaldo.
Juventus' Portuguese star was issued by the referee on Wednesday night's Champions League match against Valencia. It is certain that the red card will miss the national BL match against Young Boys on October 2, but if he gets a two-match penalty, he still had a club on Manchester United, on October 23, Trafford. Ronaldo won his first BL trophy with MU, followed by four more.
The 33-year-old's first BL match came in Juve's field, but he spent only half an hour on the court, as Judge Felix Brych issued a proposal on the baseline assistant. The most successful player in the series was sent out of the field because of falling in the hair of Jeison Murillo, the defender of Valencia, after falling in the Spanish 16 behind their backhand battle.
The Italian champion, who lost 10 men, finally won the 2-0 win.
