Ajax, the four-time winner of the title champion Real Madrid, meets Ajax in the eight-time championship with Juventus, and last year's finalist, five-time champion Liverpool, is in the 1987 and 2004 first Porto.
On the basis of the draw, both Manchester teams would be able to play the retreats at home, but the European Alliance (UEFA), in response to the request of the local authorities, had the right to change the career choice for United, so that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's team would start the quarter-finals on home. UEFA explained its decision to make Manchester City in a more prestigious position (champion) than its urban rival in its recent 2017-2018 Premier League announcement.
On Friday, a semi-finals match was also formed: the third quarter finals player wins the first match winner, while the fourth match winner meets Liverpool-Porto winner.
The first quarter finals will be played on April 9 and 10, and the retreats will take place one week later. The first stage of the semi-finals will be held on April 30 and May 1, and the second match will be held one week later. The final will be played on 1 June in Madrid, at the Atlético Madrid Stadium.
