Spectators gather at a football match to experience the game. However, they had another "experience" in the AZ Alkmaar-NEC Nijmegen match.
The Dutch national team striker Bas Dost, who played in the match on October 29, collapsed on the pitch. They immediately rushed to his aid and even had to revive him again. Thanks to the quick help, the 34-year-old soccer player recovered, but had to be taken to the hospital, where it turned out that the problem was caused by myocarditis. Even so, it is a great luck that none of this was fatal.
Two weeks have passed since then and the athlete has just been released from the hospital, but before that he received a special pacemaker, ICD.
Dost, who is recovering and resting with his family, is taking a break for the time being, which is no wonder.
