The striker was detained in November 2015 but released after interrogation, then Noël Le Graët announced in December that he would be banned from indecision for an indefinite period.

The sportsman then said, "as long as this is the case, Karim Benzema will not be able to take up the position of France. As long as the judiciary does not judge all that is accusing Benzema, the alliance will not change its position."

The victim of the case objected to Benzema and clearly accused Real Madrid striker, who denied that he had played any active role in blackmailing Valbuena.

The 30-year-old Benzema, as a player at Olympique Lyon in 2007, has been featured in the national ensemble, where she scored 27 goals at 81 meetings since October 2015, but has not been invited to the 2016 European Championship in France and this year's French win The World Championship ended in Russia.
