On Tuesday, the Hungarian national football team won 4-0 as a guest of England in the fourth round of the League of Nations A division, so they triumphed again in the island country after 69 years, and with their success jumped to the top of the 3rd group.
The last time the national team won in England was in 1953, when Ferenc Puskás' Golden Team triumphed 6-3 in the match of the century.
At the meeting in Wolverhampton, Roland Sallai scored twice, and Zsolt Nagy and Dániel Gazdag also scored.
As the Germans beat the European champions Italy 5-2 in the other match of the group, the Hungarian team jumped to the top and can play for the group victory on September 23, when they will be guests of the Germans in Leipzig, and then three days later they will host the Italians.
