According to local press reports, the Los Angeles Clippers traveled to Orlando without one of their biggest stars, Kawhi Leonard, where the North American Basketball League (NBA) season will continue from late July.
The 29-year-old class has no health problems, has received a deferral from the club for family reasons, and will later join his peers.
Strict safety rules require everyone to be quarantined upon arrival in Orlando and can only start training after that, meaning Leonard will certainly not be there for the Clippers ’first trainings.
The tournament, which was suspended in March due to the coronavirus epidemic, will continue at Disney World in Florida, where at the end of July, 22 teams that have already entered or are likely to enter the playoffs will play the role. The modified regular season runs until August 14, with eight meetings for each band. The playoffs start on August 17th and the grand final begins on September 30th.
The Clippers will play their first game on July 30 against city rival Los Angeles Lakers.
